As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will be involved in all phases of the design process, from conception to implementation for our existing and future products. For this position, we expect a high affinity to technical precision and sound knowledge in the field of serial production.

Your Role

  • Mechanical designs for our Smart Home products and their components
  • Design of mechanical and structural components and systems
  • Prototyping, laboratory testing and analysis of results
  • Cooperation with Operations during industrialization
  • Active participation in ongoing cost-down initiatives
  • Collaboration with cross-functional team members from purchasing, manufacturing and engineering
  • Project management for selected development projects

Job Requirements

  • Completed technical education (HTL, FH or TU) in the field of mechanical engineering, mechatronics and comparable fields of study
  • At least 5 years experience as Mechanical Engineer (preferably experience in electric motors & gears)
  • Familiar with the design, calculation and detailing of mechanical components
  • Experience in production-ready design for injection moulding
  • Good PC skills (MS-Office, 3D CAD etc.)
  • Sound knowledge of 3D design and the creation of production documents
  • Good command of English
  • Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 15%)
  • Strong sense of responsibility, ability to work independently and in a team

Due to Austrian law, we are obliged to state the minimum gross salary according to legal regulations and for this role. This amounts to € 3,368.00 gross per month. Depending on experience and education higher remuneration is possible. This position is open for applications in Graz.
