As a team-oriented Automation Test Engineer (f/m/d) you will be an important interface between product management and development teams. You will test both software and hardware of our Smart Home products for their functionality and get the chance to work independently on quality optimisations and thus actively shape the future of Nuki.

Your Role

  • Create and expand existing and new software and hardware test environments with defining associated tests independently
  • Extend and create reportings of automated tests
  • Develop test strategies and test scenarios with focus on automation
  • Define and review quality criteria of software and hardware for our Smart Home products
  • Identify and implement quality improvements continuously
  • Document and report test results

Job Requirements

  • Completed technical education with focus on IT, software engineering or electronics (Technical College, University, University of Applied Sciences) and at least two years of professional experience in software testing or development (iOS, Android, embedded systems, web (React) or comparable)
  • Experience with agile working methods such as SCRUM or Kanban desirable
  • Basic programming skills in Java, Swift, Javascript, C# or other script languages is an advantage
  • Knowledge of test automation frameworks such as Appium, Webdriver (Selenium) or Cypress is a plus
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Azure DevOps and Jenkins is an advantage
  • Good written and spoken English
  • Structured, precise and analytical way of working

For the advertised position, a minimum salary of € 2,850.00 gross per month applies according to the collective agreement. Willingness to overpay if you have the appropriate qualifications. This position is open for applications in Graz.
