Which Nuki devices can utilize Remote Access via Thread?
To use Remote Access via Thread, your device must be compatible with Matter. Therefore, Remote Access via Thread is currently only available with the Smart Lock (4th Generation) and Smart Lock Pro (4th Generation). If you wanted to access your Opener remotely, you would still need a Nuki Bridge. -
Which hubs are currently compatible?
Compatible hubs are those that support Matter via Thread and NAT64. NAT64 support is necessary to ensure that the Matter hub can establish the connection between the Thread network (IPv6) and the Nuki server infrastructure (IPv4). Whether your hub supports NAT64 can be found out from the manufacturer of the respective hub. A complete list of all currently compatible hubs can be found in our Help Center. -
I have bought my remote access via Thread as part of the upgrade program, how can I activate it?
After completing your order, you should have received an email from us with your activation code. You can redeem this code in the Nuki app under “Matter” – “Remote Access” einlösen.
Additionally, on February 14th, you should have received another notification via email from us. Here you will find your activation code again and a direct link to redeem your activation code in the Nuki app. -
