The connection between Bridge and Smart Lock can be affected by many factors. In lots of cases you can improve the connection by changing the placement of the Bridge. Look at the following pictures – the green bars show you the position in which an improvement can be achieved.
The bridge is plugged upright into the wall and the connection is bad:
Try to use a socket where the front of the Bridge points in the direction of the Smart Lock. A wall between Smart Lock and Bridge should be avoided.
The Bridge is inserted into a power strip:
Try turning the Bridge 90° so that it is aligned sideways in the direction of the Smart Lock. This allows you to improve the connection. Depending on the type of power strip you are using, the absolute position may vary.
If you have a bad connection, change the position of the Bridge and try again. Usually a rotation of 90° horizontally or vertically helps. Avoid a position where there is a wall between the Smart Lock and the Bridge.
