Reset Smart Door

With the Nuki app you can reset your Smart Door to factory default settings. All data will be permanently deleted. After the factory reset you can set up your Smart Door again.

There are two ways to reset your Smart Door to factory default settings:

1) Via the Smart Door settings
To reset your Smart Door via the settings, tap on the desired Smart Door in the Nuki app and enter the lock settings. Choose “Manage Smart Door” and then “Factory reset”. Then follow the instructions in the Nuki app.

2) Via the help section
You can also reset your Smart Door if you do not have it in your Nuki app. Open the Nuki app menu (top left) and go to “Help”. Select “Smart Door factory reset” and follow the instructions in the Nuki app.

If you want to uninstall your Smart Door or parts of it, factory reset the device before uninstalling it. To perform factory reset please see Activation & Deactivation.
