Scheduled locking operations
Since December, IFTTT gives you the option to define scheduled locking operations for your electronic door lock. Thus, you can automatically get your door locked every day at 10 p.m., for example.
To make this feature even easier and more comfortable to use, we have integrated it with the latest update directly into the app. So you don’t need an account at IFTTT anymore, nor the Nuki Bridge to benefit from this feature.
And here’s how to activate the new feature:
Open the Smart Lock settings and tap Administration. In the section “Automatic locking times”, you can define up to 10 different lock times, similar to your alarm clock.
Custom Lock ‘n’ Go time
Another request from many of our users was to make the Lock ’n’ Go time adjustable. Thereby you can now determine after how many seconds the Smart Lock should automatically lock the door behind you. You have the choice between 5, 10, 15, or 20 seconds.
Custom button actions
You love it individually and don’t like default actions? With the new update, you can now configure the actions when you push the button on your Nuki Smart Lock once or twice.
You’d like to start the Lock ‘n’ Go feature with a single push or do you want to get the status when you press the button twice? From now on, this is no longer a problem. More individuality for you and your Nuki Smart Lock!
Battery warning as notification
To ensure that you do not miss a battery warning of your Smart Lock, you will now also get it outside of your Nuki app as a notification on your device. Thus, you can never miss the warning, even if you arrive home and use the Auto Unlock feature and, as a result, rarely open the app.

Please note:
- The new Smart Lock firmware version 1.4.5 will gradually be published within the next days. If the update isn’t available for you right away, there is no need to worry. The firmware update will certainly be displayed in the Nuki App in the coming days.
- To use the features mentioned, you need the Nuki app version 1.6.2 or higher. As usual, you will receive the latest app version in the respective app store.
