Does the Smart Lock Pro fit my door?

This page will guide you through the most important compatibility questions.

The Nuki Smart Lock Pro will be mounted over your current key on the inside of your door. You will therefore need to check your cylinder and key.

Compatible Cylinder Types

The Nuki Smart Lock Pro is compatible with most common European cylinder types.

*Yes, if the cylinder overhang is < 6 mm and you use the stick-on mounting plate.

Emergency function

With the emergency function you can unlock your door from the outside, even if a key is inserted inside. Additionally, inside and outside keys turn synchronously.

Does your cylinder not have the emergency function? We recommend the Smart Lock Ultra.

Key thickness: ≤ 4 mm

Your key must be no thicker than 4 mm to fit inside the Smart Lock Pro.

Key length: protruding ≤ 37 mm

Your key must protrude no more than 37 mm to fit inside the Smart Lock Pro.

Key orientation

Nuki is compatible with horizontal and vertical key orientation.

Door opens inwards:

Does your door open inwards? Then the distance from the keyhole center to both the door frame and the handle must be more than 30 mm.

Door opens outwards:

Does your door open outwards? Then the distance from the keyhole center to the door frame must be more than 40 mm, and the distance to the handle must be more than 30 mm.
