Which Nuki access solutions are compatible with the Keypad?

Accepted Answer

The Keypad is compatible with all generations and variants of the Nuki Smart Lock as well as the Smart Door. Additionally, the Keypad is also compatible with the Nuki Opener. However, due to the physical limitations of Bluetooth and the often greater distance between the front door and intercom, we cannot guarantee proper functionality.

Do I need remote access to my other Nuki devices in order to use the Keypad?

Accepted Answer

The Keypad is connected to your Nuki access solution via Bluetooth and therefore independent of the Nuki Bridge, built-in Wi-Fi module, or Remote Access via Thread. However, if you have remote access to your Nuki Smart Lock or Nuki Smart Door, you can also assign access codes to your Keypad remotely. The codes are stored directly on your access solution.

Can the Keypad be connected to multiple Nuki devices simultaneously?

Accepted Answer

No. The Keypad can only be connected to one Nuki device at a time. If you want to connect it to a new device, the connection to the old device must be deleted.

How do I install the Nuki Keypad?

Accepted Answer

The Nuki Keypad is mounted to the outside of your front door by gluing it to the door frame or screwing it onto the front of the house. The required mounting accessories (adhesive strips, screws and dowels) are included in the package. The Nuki Keypad is battery-powered and contains two button cells. There are no wires or cables to connect.

Can an access code be time-restricted?

An access code works like an access authorization that you assign in the Nuki app. This means it can be managed and time-limited at any time in the user management of the Nuki App.

How is my Nuki Keypad protected against theft?

Accepted Answer

Because the Nuki Keypad is mounted on the outside of your front door, it’s visible to people outside. Should your Nuki Keypad be stolen, we offer you a theft replacement guarantee. Just send us a copy of your loss report (issued by the police) and proof of ownership (original invoice) of your Keypad. Once we’ve received your documents, we’ll send you a free replacement product.
