With the help of several plug-in modules, the Universal Cylinder adapts to different door dimensions, making it the ideal the ideal basis for your Nuki Smart Lock 3.0 and 3.0 Pro.

The most common reason why a locking cylinder is incompatible is the missing emergency function: The principle of the Nuki Smart Lock is simple – the motor in the Smart Lock turns the key on the inner side of your door. If you don’t have a lock cylinder that you can leave a key in, you would no longer be able unlock it with the key from the outside. That’s why we recommend only using the Nuki Smart Lock on doors with an emergency function. You can only retrofit this function by replacing the lock cylinder. Take the opportunity to buy a lock cylinder with the highest security class SKG***, such as the Nuki Universal Cylinder.

• Modular design for more compatibility: The Universal Cylinder is made up of individual modules. This makes it easy to adapt to different door dimensions. Find out how to get the right dimensions for your door lock here (“Installation”). There are up to 33 possible cylinder sizes.
• Maximum safety – these are the factors to watch out for: Our locking cylinder was built in accordance with the security class SKG***. This guarantees drilling protection, impact protection and core protection for exterior doors. Stainless steel with steel insert from the German knife manufacturer PUMA and hardened steel driver pins ensure maximum resistance to drilling.
• Security card – preventing unauthorised duplication of keys: The Nuki Universal Cylinder comes with 5 keys. Additional keys can only be issued upon presentation of the security card.
• Emergency function – as the ideal basis for the Nuki Smart Lock, the Nuki Universal Cylinder can of course be locked from both sides.
