Compatible Cylinder Types

The Nuki Smart Lock Ultra Nordics is compatible with typical Scandinavian oval and round cylinders that have either a thumbturn or a key on the inside of the door.

Key or thumbturn

If you lock your door from the inside with a key or thumbturn, the Nuki Smart Lock Nordics is compatible.

Deadbolt

Your cylinder needs to have a deadbolt. If you lock your door with your key or knob, for example, the deadbolt moves out to secure your door. 
If you operate your door only by a latch, the Nuki Smart Lock is not compatible.

Door opens inwards:

Does your door open inwards? Then the distance from the deadbolt center to both the door frame and the handle must be more than 30 mm.

Door opens outwards:

Does your door open outwards? Then the distance from the deadbolt center to the door frame must be more than 40 mm, and the distance to the handle must be more than 30 mm.
