You can install the Smart Module yourself or have a Nuki Pro partner install it for you. Please consider the following before you make your choice:
Instructions
The Nuki Smart Module comes with a detailed manual and a step-by-step guide in the Nuki app for the flush-mounted installation. However, because door wirings vary greatly, we cannot provide instructions for your specific door's electrical setup. If you feel uncertain handling wiring or electrical installations, we strongly recommend consulting a certified professional or a Nuki Pro Partner.
Required materials
Please note that only the materials required to install the Smart Module are included. However, depending on the conditions on site, additional materials such as terminal blocks may be needed.
Technical knowledge
The Smart Module is intended to be installed by technically skilled users or professionals. Experience with electrical connections, wiring diagrams, polarity, and appropriate circuit protection is required. Incorrect wiring can damage the Smart Module and connected devices. If in doubt, we recommend consulting a qualified electrician.
