Accounting Lead (f/m/d)

As an Accounting Lead (m/f/d) at Nuki, you will be part of a dynamic team of finance experts. You will report directly to the Head of Finance and have the opportunity to lead the accounting team while taking responsibility for the entire accounting and preparing the monthly and annual financial statements. Your high sense of accountability will ensure the accuracy and consistency of our external and internal reporting. Your passion for efficiency and ERP systems enables you to automate and constantly optimise accounting processes. This will give you the chance to actively shape the future of Nuki.

• Together with your team, you will be responsible for the accounting and the preparation of the monthly and annual financial statements.
• You will automate and optimize the accounting processes as well as the monthly and year-end closing process.
• You will independently take care of the monthly VAT return, including reporting to the tax authorities.
• You will carry out data validation checks to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the monthly and annual financial statements.
• You are the central point of contact for auditors, tax consultants and authorities.
• You are responsible for our weekly liquidity planning.
• You are a key user of our ERP system and contribute to its further development.

• You have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Informatics or a related field.
• You have relevant professional experience (at least 5 years) in the areas of accounting, tax consulting or auditing.
• Ideally, you would have passed the tax consultant exam and gained initial (leadership) experience, preferably in a big four company.
• You are familiar with ERP systems and ideally write queries and have programming skills (SQL).   
• You have strong analytical problem-solving skills, are very detail-oriented, and have a high sense of responsibility.
• You can work independently and co-operatively in a fast-paced environment.
• You are fluent in English and German.

For the advertised position, a minimum salary of € 3,724.00 gross per month applies according to the collective agreement (no all-in). Willingness to significantly overpay if you have the appropriate qualifications. This position is open for applications in Graz.
