Summer Update to the Nuki app
Thanks to update 2023.7.1, the new menu gets users to where they’re going more quickly
Graz (Austria), July 11th, 2023
- Nuki app version 2023.7.1 is more convenient for users: Straightforward menu simplifies navigation in the app.
- Quick switch of the main view between “Favourites” and “All devices” is now possible.
- Something many users have wanted for a long time is now here: the battery charge level indicator can be viewed directly in the overview.
Nuki releases an app update every month. Significant design changes were introduced in the past two versions. “If you constantly add new features to a product, the overview inevitably begins to suffer at some point,” explains Martin Pansy, Co-Founder and Managing Director of Nuki Home Solutions GmbH, then adding: “Owners of a Nuki Smart Lock rarely need to use the app, as most of them use convenient features like Auto Unlock or our Keypad 2.0. That makes it all the more important that they can quickly find the feature they are looking for with every interaction – and that is what the new menu accomplishes."
Keeping an eye on the battery charge level
Up to now, the current charge level of the battery or the Nuki Power Pack was hidden in the menu and had to be retrieved by the Smart Lock every time. The current app version makes this much quicker. If you only have a Smart Lock, you can see the battery charge level at the bottom of your screen in the main view at any time. If you have multiple devices, just tap on the lock name to reveal the battery charge level indicator. Speaking of multiple devices: With the latest app version, the main view quickly switches between “Favourites” and “All devices” – all it takes is a tap on the Nuki logo at the top-center part of your screen.
The Nuki app can be downloaded for free for iOS and Android.
