The Nuki Universal Cylinder is designed as a modular solution. It is easy to lengthen or shorten the cylinder to make it fit with your door. There are a total of 96 possible cylinder dimensions, making Nuki Universal Cylinder compatible with almost every door in Europe.
The Nuki Universal Cylinder offers you six external dimensions and sixteen internal dimensions:
External dimensions: 30 mm, 35 mm, 40 mm, 45 mm, 50 mm, 55 mm
Internal dimensions: 30 mm, 32.5 mm, 35 mm, 37.5 mm, 40 mm, 42.5 mm, 45 mm, 47.5 mm, 50 mm, 52.5 mm, 55 mm, 57.5 mm, 60 mm, 62.5 mm, 65 mm, 67.5 mm

The Nuki Universal Cylinder is a locking cylinder with reversible keys. This makes it particularly user-friendly. The key can be inserted into the key channel in any orientation. There is no defined top or bottom of the key. The key channel of the Nuki Universal Cylinder is aligned horizontally. You will receive your cylinder with a matching knob adapter. The knob adapter is perfectly adapted to your Nuki Smart Lock.

Which versions of the Nuki Smart Lock are compatible with the Nuki Universal Cylinder?

The Nuki Universal Cylinder is compatible with the Nuki Smart Lock (2nd generation or higher). With the Nuki Universal Cylinder you do not need a key on the inside of your door. You will receive your cylinder with a matching knob adapter. The knob adapter is perfectly adapted to your Nuki Smart Lock.First generation devices do not support knob cylinders. Thus, the Nuki Universal Cylinder is compatible with every Nuki Smart Lock from the 2nd generation onwards.

Can I also use the Nuki Universal Cylinder without the Nuki Smart Lock?

The Nuki Universal Cylinder was specially developed for the Nuki Smart Lock. It is equipped with a knob adapter on the inside of the door, which the Smart Lock can operate. The knob adapter is only suitable for manual operation to a limited extent. We therefore recommend using the Nuki Universal Cylinder only in combination with the Nuki Smart Lock.
