Setup & Installation
The Nuki Smart Lock is mounted on top of the existing door cylinder on the inside of your door. To fix Nuki to your existing door lock, one of two alternative mounting plates is either clamped onto the lock cylinder, or glued to the surface around it. More information about the installation requirements can be found here. If you plug in a Nuki Bridge in less than 5 meters distance to your Smart Lock you can even control your Nuki on the go over the Internet.
Nuki apps are also available for Apple Watch and Android Smartwatches. Lock and unlock your door right from your wrist.

Hands-free Auto Unlock
For your ultimate convenience, you can activate the Auto Unlock feature in the Nuki smartphone app. Nuki will then automatically unlock your door when you come home – keeping your hands free, and your phone in your pocket. As soon as you approach your home, the Nuki App on your phone starts screening for your Smart lock. Once you get within a few metres distance to your door, Nuki opens the lock for you.
Nuki’s Lock ’n’ Go feature offers you a very convenient way to avoid the need to manually lock the door after leaving your home. To open the door from the inside, just push the button on your Smart Lock. Tap it twice and Nuki will automatically lock your door 20 seconds after you have left.
With Nuki and IFTTT you can connect your Smart Lock to the apps and devices you use every day, like Facebook, Twitter, Philips Hue and Fitbit. Open and lock your front door at a specific time, or turn off your lights automatically when you leave the house.
